What happens next
CPAP machines and masks are prescription devices, the same as any other medical equipment. Once we have yours on file, you never have to send it again.

Prescription questions
Do I need a prescription for supplies?
No. Cushions, filters, tubing, headgear, mask parts and pillows all ship without one. Only machines, masks and humidifiers require a prescription.
Will this hold up my order?
No. You can check out right away. We hold shipping on the machine or mask until your prescription is on file, and everything else in the order ships as normal.
Can I send it before I place an order?
Yes, and it saves a step. Send it with the email address you plan to use at checkout and it will already be on file when your order comes through.
I don't have a copy. Can my doctor's office send it?
Yes. Have them fax it to (954) 915-1134 or email it to info@hmemedicals.com. Ask them to write your order number on it so we can match it to you.
Can my regular doctor write it, or do I need a sleep specialist?
Your primary care physician can usually write it. If they have your sleep study on record, or they know you're already on CPAP therapy, most are happy to. It's generally faster than waiting for a specialist appointment.
How long does it take you to review it?
Most prescriptions are reviewed within 24 hours. If anything is missing from yours, we'll email you and tell you exactly what to ask your doctor for.
What file types can I upload?
JPG and PNG. If you're taking a photo with your phone, make sure all four corners of the page and the doctor's signature are in the frame and in focus.
