Full-Face Masks

Finding the right mask is the most important step in making CPAP therapy something you can actually stick with. Our full-face masks are built for people who breathe through their mouth at night, whose nose is often congested, or who need higher pressure settings. They seal securely without feeling like more hardware than you signed up for. Whether you're at home or packing for a trip, you get a stable seal and a clear line of sight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually needs a full face mask?

Three groups: people who breathe through their mouth at night, people whose nose is chronically congested or blocked, and people on higher pressures where nasal-only therapy starts to feel like too much air through too small an opening.

Do full face masks leak more than nasal masks?

They have more seal to maintain, so they're less forgiving. But most leaks aren't the mask's fault. The usual causes are a worn cushion, an over-tightened strap that buckles the seal, or a size that isn't yours. Replacing a tired cushion often fixes more leaks than an adjustment would.

Are full face masks okay for side sleepers?

Yes, if you pick the right design. The F30i routes the hose over the top of your head, and the F30 and Amara View sit under your nose instead of over it, so there's much less mask to press into a pillow. A traditional over-the-nose mask like the F20 or Vitera has more bulk to work around.

What's a hybrid or under-the-nose full face mask?

It still covers your mouth, but the top of the seal tucks under your nose rather than across the bridge. Nothing touches your forehead and nothing sits in your line of sight, so you can wear glasses or watch TV before bed.

Will a full face mask seal over a beard?

Often, yes. Under-the-nose designs have less seal crossing hair, and memory foam cushions like the AirTouch F20 conform around stubble better than silicone does. A very full beard is still the hardest case in CPAP, so this is worth a call before you order.

What about the prescription and returns?

Masks need a prescription, but you can order first and upload it after. We'll hold the order until we have it. And every mask carries our 30-night guarantee: if it isn't right, exchange it for store credit even after you've slept in it.
