Overview

The ResMed AirFit F20 is a full face CPAP mask built around the InfinitySeal silicone cushion, which adapts to different facial profiles and sleep positions to hold a reliable seal all night. A soft padded frame, plush headgear, and magnetic clips make it quick to put on and comfortable to wear.

The frame flexes to your face and stays clear of your eyeline, with no contact above the eyes, so you keep an open field of view while you read or watch TV before bed. Integrated padding inside the frame helps prevent pinching, pressure, and red marks.

Key Features:

  • InfinitySeal Cushion: Infinity loops and varying thickness support the sides of the nose while relieving pressure at the nasal bridge, holding a seal even at the highest therapy pressures. Available in Small, Medium, and Large.
  • Soft, Flexible Frame: Flexes to your facial profile to minimize facial contact and improve stability during side, back, and stomach sleeping.
  • QuietAir Diffuser Elbow: Disperses air almost silently with a gentle exhaust flow, so your bed partner sleeps undisturbed.
  • Quick-Release Elbow: Squeeze tabs detach the tubing with one hand, and a 360° independent swivel reduces tubing drag.
  • Magnetic Clips: Snap the plush headgear on and off without readjusting your straps every night.

The AirFit F20 is ideal for patients who prefer full face coverage, breathe through their mouth during sleep, or need higher pressure settings. The flexible frame suits anyone who found a bulkier full face mask sat in their line of sight.

Everything you need to know about the ResMed AirFit F20 Full Face Mask

Who the AirFit F20 is for

Full face masks cover your nose and mouth, so this is the right pick if you breathe through your mouth at night, if your nose blocks up often, or if a nasal mask keeps leaking because your jaw drops open. It also handles high pressures well, which is where smaller masks tend to give up.

Silicone vs memory foam

The AirFit F20 uses a silicone cushion. Silicone seals by springing back against your face, so it wipes clean in seconds, lasts through daily washing, and is the safer bet if you sweat at night. Memory foam, like the AirTouch F20 uses, is softer on sensitive skin but cannot be soaked and wears out faster. Same frame and headgear either way, so it comes down to skin comfort against durability.

Keeping it clean

Wash the cushion daily in warm water with a mild soap, rinse it, and let it air-dry out of direct sunlight. Silicone handles this fine, which is its main advantage. Wash the headgear weekly by hand. Skipping this is what turns a good seal into a leaky one, because facial oils break down the cushion edge.

InfinitySeal cushion

Infinity loops and varying thickness let the cushion support the sides of your nose while easing pressure on the bridge, so it holds a seal even at high pressures.

Soft, flexible frame

The frame flexes to your face and never touches above your eyes, so you can read or watch TV in bed with an open field of view.

QuietAir diffuser elbow

Spreads your exhaled air out gently and near silently, so it does not blow across the bed at whoever is next to you.

Magnetic clips, quick-release elbow

Magnets guide the headgear into place without resetting your straps, and squeeze-tabs let you detach the hose one-handed in the dark.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which cushion size I need?

Use ResMed's printable AirFit F20 sizing guide. Cushion size follows the width and height of your nose and mouth, not the size of your head, so a big head does not mean a big cushion. Most people land on Medium. The headgear is one size and adjusts separately.

What is different about the For Her version?

It is the same AirFit F20 mask and the same InfinitySeal cushion, with restyled headgear and a size range aimed at smaller faces. ResMed makes it in Small and Medium only, which is why Large greys out when you pick For Her.

How do I clean the silicone cushion?

Hand-wash it daily in warm soapy water, rinse well, and air-dry it out of sunlight. Silicone tolerates this far better than memory foam does, so you can be routine about it. Do not use alcohol, bleach, or scented soaps, which harden the silicone and cost you the seal.

Will it work with my machine?

Yes. The AirFit F20 uses a standard CPAP hose connection and works with any CPAP or BiPAP machine, not just ResMed.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, CPAP masks are prescription devices. You can still complete checkout without one: we hold the order rather than cancel it, and ship as soon as we can verify your prescription.
