Frequently Asked Questions
What is this bed's weight capacity?
The bed frame has a weight capacity of 450 lbs. Every bed, side rail and mattress combination is safety-tested by SGS, a nationally recognized testing facility, and meets FDA entrapment guidelines.
What happens if the power goes out?
A 9-volt battery in the hand control can still lower the head and foot sections up to nine times with no crank needed. That keeps the bed usable through a power failure.
Can the motor be serviced without moving the patient?
Yes, the self-contained motor assembly can be installed or removed with the patient still in the bed. It is UL approved and built to reduce weight and noise.
