Overview
The Vitera headgear is the fabric strap assembly that holds your mask against your face, made from the same VentiCool weave Fisher and Paykel supply with the mask. It is sold in two sizes, and either one will fit any size of Vitera mask.
Key Features:
- VentiCool weave: The fabric is made to pass heat and moisture outward rather than hold it against your skin.
- Either size fits any mask: A Small headgear works on a Large Vitera and the reverse holds too, so choose on head size.
- Clips listed separately: The headgear clips and forehead clip have a listing of their own if that hardware is what failed.
- Bottom straps first: Fisher and Paykel fit the lower straps first, then rest the blue forehead straps loosely across the brow.

Which masks does this Vitera headgear fit?
The Vitera full face mask, in either size. It will not fit an Evora of either kind, which is built around a different frame and clip layout.
When should I swap the headgear out?
Nothing in the Vitera guide sets a replacement date. The straps are due once they have lost their stretch and you find yourself pulling them tighter than you once did.
How do I wash the headgear?
Fisher and Paykel say to hand wash it in warm soapy water after seven days of use, then rinse and air dry it away from sunlight. The rest of the mask is washed daily instead.
