Overview
The AirFit F20 cushion is the soft silicone seal of your ResMed full face mask, covering your nose and mouth and doing the real work of keeping air in. A fresh one restores the comfortable, leak-free fit of a new mask, without replacing the whole system.
Choose Small, Medium or Large, matching the size printed on your current cushion. It presses onto the frame you already own, so your headgear and elbow stay exactly as they are, and For Her wearers can select that option above.
Key Features:
- Moves as you turn: The cushion shifts with your face as you change position, so the seal holds whether you sleep on your back or your side.
- Whisper-quiet mask: Exhaled air leaves through the elbow vent, and ResMed describes the complete mask as quieter than a soft whisper.
- Gentle material: Hypoallergenic silicone stays soft and light against your skin, a material ResMed chose for comfort and a stable seal.
- Full face coverage: Covering both your nose and mouth, it keeps your therapy working even if your mouth falls open while you sleep.
- Latex free: Made without natural rubber latex, PVC or phthalates, according to the user guide ResMed publishes for the F20 mask.
It suits AirFit F20 wearers who like their mask and simply need a replacement, or who want a different size on the same frame. If you would rather have nothing across the bridge of your nose, the AirFit F30i cushion sits below it instead.
Note: This cushion fits F20 masks only. The AirFit F30, F30i and F40 have similar names but take their own cushions, so check the name printed on your frame before you order.
How It Works
Finding your size
If you are new to the F20, or your current size never felt quite right, print ResMed's fitting template at actual size. Check the ruler on the sheet to confirm it printed to scale before you trust it.
Hold the cutout to your face and match the span from the bridge of your nose to your chin. Sizes do not carry over between mask models, so measure again whenever you switch to a different mask.
Silicone or memory foam
The F20 comes in two versions that share one frame. The AirFit uses this silicone cushion, while the AirTouch uses a cushion of soft memory foam, and either one fits either frame.
Silicone is the one to choose if you like to wash your mask every day, since foam can only be wiped. Foam feels softer and more cushioned against the skin, so it is worth trying if silicone has never felt comfortable to you.
Caring for silicone
Give the cushion a hand wash every day in warm water with a mild liquid soap, brushing gently with a soft brush, then rinse it well. Let it air dry away from direct sunlight before you put the mask back together.
Harsh household cleaners are best avoided, since mild soap and water are all the silicone needs. Taking a moment each morning keeps the membrane soft and helps the seal last the whole month.

Everything you need to know about the ResMed AirFit F20 Full Face Cushion
Seals like the first night
A new cushion brings back the soft, even seal your mask had when it was new. With a fresh membrane against your face, you can keep the straps comfortably loose and wake up without the deep lines a tired cushion leaves behind.
Stops the midnight air leaks
If you keep tightening the headgear to stop a hiss, the cushion is usually the problem. With nightly use the membrane wears and stops holding its shape, so a fresh cushion stops the leak where extra strap tension only adds pressure.
Made for side sleepers
The InfinitySeal shape is designed to move with you instead of lifting away when you roll over. That is why it suits side sleepers who shift through the night, the people most likely to wake to air blowing past the cushion edge.

InfinitySeal cushion
The soft membrane gently inflates with your airflow, so it seals well without pulling the straps tight.
Quiet as new
The vent sits in the elbow, so a fresh cushion keeps the mask as quiet as the day you got it.
Push-on fit
Line up the round openings and press until it holds, with no clips to fumble with in the dark.
Soft silicone
Soft, lightweight and hypoallergenic silicone that feels gentle on your skin night after night.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my AirTouch F20 mask?
Yes. The AirFit F20 and AirTouch F20 share the same frame and differ only in the cushion, so this silicone one fits either mask. It is made for the F20 family only.
Is the For Her cushion a different part?
No. The AirFit F20 For Her uses this exact cushion, so you can order it here by choosing the For Her option. That option offers Small and Medium, the two sizes the For Her mask comes in.
Why does my new cushion leak?
Usually the cushion has creased or the mask has slipped down your face. Take the mask off, smooth the cushion and settle it back into place before you touch the straps, because the fix is a better fit rather than a tighter one.
Can I use a CPAP sanitizer on it?
ResMed has not approved ozone or UV cleaning devices for this mask and warns they may discolor or damage it. A daily hand wash with mild soap and warm water is all the cushion needs.
How often should I replace it?
Every month is ResMed's guideline, and sooner if you see cracks or tears or it keeps leaking after a careful refit. The frame and headgear last much longer, so the cushion is the part you reorder most.
