Overview

The AirFit N20 For Her cushion is the part of ResMed's For Her nasal mask that sits on your nose and forms the seal. Replacing it on schedule keeps the seal soft and quiet, with no need to change the frame or headgear you already like.

ResMed fits the For Her mask with the Small cushion, and that is the size offered here. There is nothing to measure, since this is the very part your mask came with.

Key Features:

  • Stays put as you turn: The membrane flexes with your face when you roll onto your side, so the seal keeps up without readjusting the straps.
  • Seal without squeeze: The membrane rests gently over your nose and seals on its own, so the headgear can stay comfortably loose.
  • Room to read: Nothing sits over your mouth or eyes, so a book or a show before sleep feels natural with the mask on.
  • Latex free: ResMed's guide for the N20 family confirms there is no natural rubber latex in the mask, this cushion included.
  • Quiet through the night: Air you breathe out exits through small holes in the elbow, so changing the cushion never makes the mask any louder.

It suits anyone wearing ResMed's For Her nasal mask whose cushion now leaks, marks the skin or feels slippery, or who has reached the monthly change. It is the same Small cushion the mask came with, so the fit stays familiar.

Note: This cushion fits N20 masks only. Keep the mask away from implanted medical devices, since the frame and lower clips hold magnets.

How It Works

Removing the old cushion

Unhook the upper strap tabs and squeeze the side buttons on the elbow to release it. Grip the frame in one hand and ease the worn cushion free with the other.

Push the new cushion into the frame. It is shaped to fit one way only, so reattach the elbow, refasten the straps and the mask is ready for the night.

Putting the mask on

Rest the cushion on your nose first, then draw the headgear back over your head so the lower straps settle beneath your ears. Bringing the mask down from your forehead tends to crumple the edge, which is where most new-cushion leaks begin.

Adjust the top straps until the seal feels steady, then the lower ones just enough to hold the cushion in place. It should feel snug and comfortable, never tight.

Daily care for silicone

Each morning, hand wash the cushion in warm, gently soapy water, working a soft brush around the membrane before a thorough rinse. Set it somewhere shaded to dry naturally.

Skip strong household cleaners and cleaning gadgets, because silicone needs nothing more than gentle soap and water. Those few minutes a day are what keep the membrane supple until the next change.

What's Included

Everything you need to know about the ResMed AirFit N20 For Her Nasal Cushion

What makes it For Her

The For Her mask differs from the standard N20 in its frame and smaller headgear, with soft lavender accents, rather than in its cushion. The seal against your nose is the same trusted ResMed part, sized for a smaller face.

Fits N20 frames only

This cushion fits N20 frames, both the AirFit and AirTouch, standard and For Her. The AirFit N30i, P10 and other nasal masks need their own cushions, whatever their headgear color, so it is worth confirming your mask model.

Signs it is time

A worn cushion is easy to spot once you know the signs. You keep tightening the straps, the seal feels slippery even after a wash, or you wake with marks you never had before. Any crack or tear means it should go straight away.

Light nasal fit

The small cushion leaves your mouth uncovered, so the mask feels light and you can talk or sip water freely.

Soft, steady seal

The InfinitySeal membrane settles over your nose and holds its seal without tight headgear.

Skin-friendly silicone

Hypoallergenic silicone feels soft and smooth, the comfort you expect from a fresh cushion.

Quick to swap

Shaped to seat in the frame just one way, it swaps over in seconds with no tools and no guesswork.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a special For Her cushion?

No. ResMed makes one N20 silicone cushion for both masks, so this is the same part the standard N20 uses. What sets the For Her mask apart is its frame and headgear.

Why is only Small offered here?

The For Her mask is made in Small, so that is the cushion it ships with. ResMed does not say whether larger cushions suit the For Her frame, so we only offer the size it confirms.

Is there a softer option for my mask?

There is. ResMed's AirTouch N20 memory foam cushion also suits the For Her frame. It feels softer against the skin, but it is never soaked, so your daily routine changes.

Does my headgear need replacing too?

Not as often. The headgear lasts several cushion changes before it loosens, so most people reorder the cushion on its own and keep the For Her headgear they already have.

How long does a cushion last?

About a month of nightly use, which is ResMed's replacement guideline. Swap it early if the silicone cracks, tears or stops sealing even after a careful refit.
