Overview
The humidifier lid seal is the clear gasket that lines the inside of the DreamStation humidifier lid and holds the water chamber airtight once the lid is shut. When a DreamStation starts leaking or quietly loses humidity, this small part is usually the reason rather than the tank.
Key Features:
- Fits one way only: Philips states it plainly: the center hole lines up with the outlet port and the wire channel sits below it.
- Original DreamStation range: A single seal covers the whole first generation lineup, from the entry CPAP up to the autoSV.
- Not a DreamStation 2 part: The second generation uses a different humidifier and a different lid, and this seal does not fit it.
- No fixed schedule: Philips names no interval for this part, only a condition: fit a new one once the rubber looks worn.
- Seal only, not the tank: If the clear tank itself is cracked or cloudy, a new seal will not fix that and you want the chamber.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my DreamStation?
It fits the heated humidifier used across the original DreamStation range, both the CPAP and the BiPAP machines. It does not fit the DreamStation 2, which uses a different humidifier with its own lid.
How often does the seal need replacing?
Philips gives no interval for it. The instruction is to look the tank and seal over each time you take them apart, and to fit a new one as soon as the rubber looks worn, flattened or torn.
Which way round does it go?
One way only. Philips asks that the center hole line up with the humidifier outlet port and the wire channel in the seal sit below that port, then that you press the edges in around the whole perimeter.
