Fisher & Paykel Evora Full Face Seal

The Evora Full Face sits low, sealing under the nose rather than across the bridge of it, and this is the component doing that work. It presses onto the frame and comes away again without tools, which is what makes a routine swap genuinely routine.

Three seal sizes fit the Fisher and Paykel Evora Full Face; Extra Small, Small-Medium and Large. The seal itself is the silicone surface that meets your skin and closes around both the nose and the mouth together

Evora owners reach for this part when the mask starts marking the face or breaking its seal on a turn. It is the only component in constant contact with skin, so it hardens and loses shape well ahead of everything else.

Choosing between the three sizes

No measurement chart is published against any of the three sizes, so there is nothing to hold up to your face. Small-Medium is built to cover most adults, with Extra Small and Large sitting either side for narrower and broader faces.

If the seal itself sits correctly but the lower straps run out of travel, the fix named in the fitting instructions is an Extra Large headgear rather than a bigger seal. Changing seal size to solve a strap problem usually creates a leak instead.

What the stability wings do

The frame carries wings that press lightly on the cheeks and hold the assembly steady, while the sealing surface itself is left free to move. Those two jobs are deliberately separated, so stability does not depend on clamping the silicone down.

In practice that is what lets the mask stay sealed when you roll over. A conventional full face relies on one part for both stability and sealing, which is why tightening it further often trades a leak for a pressure mark.

Care, and the two different limits

Hand clean the seal after each use and let it dry away from any window, keeping the headgear to a weekly turn. Bleach, chlorine, antiseptic, moisturizer, antibacterial agents and anything alcohol based are all prohibited, as is the dishwasher.

Two separate ceilings apply. Thirty days governs the cushion, while twelve months applies to the mask as a unit, dated from the first time it was worn, and reaching one says nothing about the other.
