Overview
The Luna G3 heated tube carries your humidified air warm from the machine all the way to your mask. Unlike a plain hose, which lets that air cool and shed its moisture onto the tube wall, this one holds the warmth the whole way down.
React Health connects it differently from other brands. The hose meets the air outlet the way any tube does, and then a separate power plug goes into its own port on the back of the machine.
Key Features:
- Heated Full Length: A heating element runs the whole way, so warm air arrives warm rather than cooling on the trip.
- Rainout Protection: React Health names a heated tube as one of three ways to stop water forming inside your hose.
- Five Heat Levels: Set the warmth with the same knob you use for everything else, or switch it off on mild nights.
- Genuine React Health Part: React Health warns that non-approved accessories can affect how well the machine performs, so this tube is built to their own spec.
- Latex Free: React Health states that every part and accessory across its Luna system is free of natural rubber latex.
- Six-Month Replacement: React Health dates the service life from the day you first use it, not the day it was made.
This tube is ideal for patients who wake to water in the mask, whose bedroom runs cold, or who have turned the humidifier down to cope and would rather not. It is also the upgrade if your machine shipped with the plain hose.
Note: This tube fits the Luna G3 and nothing else. Its power plug goes into a port only React Health builds, so no ResMed or Philips machine can drive it even if the hose itself fits the outlet.
How It Works
Why there are two connections
Most heated tubes route power and air through one cuff, using contacts built into the ring that seats on the outlet. React Health separates them. The hose slides onto the 22 mm air outlet like any standard tube, and a plug on a short lead goes into its own socket beside it.
The practical consequence is that the hose can look and feel fully seated while the heating side is not making contact at all, since the two connections are entirely independent of each other.
The outlet, and the elbow that directs it
The Luna G3's air outlet is a 22 mm conical connector built to the ISO 5356-1 standard, the same fitting most CPAP hoses use industry wide. A 90 degree elbow adapter ships with the device itself, not with the tube, and sits between the outlet and whichever hose you run.
The elbow exists to redirect the hose so it does not pull straight out from the machine at an awkward angle. It works the same way whether you are running this heated tube or the plain 19 mm hose, since both use the same air-side connection.
How it compares to the other brands
The bore is the visible difference. At 19 mm this is wider than the 15 mm heated tubes ResMed and Philips both build, which puts it closer to a standard hose in feel and slightly further from the thin, drapeable end of the market.
The temperature ceiling is higher too. React Health rates the machine to deliver gas at up to 43 degrees Celsius where ResMed and Philips both stop at 41, so there is a little more headroom at the top of the range.

Everything you need to know about the React Health Luna G3 Heated Tubing
Air that arrives warm
A plain hose lets your humidified air cool on the way down, and cool air cannot hold what the humidifier put into it. Heating the tube the whole way means the moisture is still there when it reaches you.
Ends the morning puddle
React Health names a cold room meeting a high humidifier setting as the cause of water in the hose, and lists a heated tube as one of the three fixes. The other two cost you the humidity you wanted.
Two separate dials
Tube heat and humidifier output both run one to five, but they are two separate controls, not one setting doing double duty. Dial in exactly how warm and how wet you want the air, independently of each other.

Warm arrival
A heating element runs the length of the hose so the air reaches your mask still carrying its moisture.
Five levels
Turn the knob to set the heat between one and five, or switch it off on a warmer night.
Dry hose
Warming the tube stops condensation forming inside it, which is where the morning puddle comes from.
Confirmed on screen
The tube icon turns into a number once it is properly connected, so you are never guessing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my ResMed or Philips machine?
No. The heating power comes through a plug that goes into a port built into the Luna G3 itself, and no other manufacturer has that port. This tube only works on the machine it was designed for.
How do I know it is connected?
The tube icon on the home screen turns into a number once both connections are seated. If you see the icon without a number beside it, the power plug has not gone fully into its port.
What cleaning does React Health specify?
It defers to the tubing manufacturer's own instructions rather than giving a schedule. What it does rule out is chlorine, chlorinated lime and aromatic solutions, along with any ozone-based cleaning device.
How often does React Health say to replace it?
Six months from the first date of use. That is React Health's own published service life for both the plain and heated Luna G3 tubes, so it is not a figure borrowed from another brand.
Does the Luna G3 include a heated tube?
Not automatically. React Health lists both the plain and heated tubes as optional accessories, not standard box contents, on the LG3500 and LG3600. Check what actually shipped with your machine before assuming you already have one.
