Overview
The AirMini leaves the factory with an outlet of its own shape, so only ResMed's own narrow tube fits it. This NovoSleep adapter snaps over that outlet and presents a standard tube fitting instead. It is a third party part, not a ResMed one.

What does this actually do?
It snaps onto the air outlet on your AirMini and converts it to a standard tube fitting. Ordinary CPAP tubing then pushes on, in place of the proprietary AirMini tube.
Does that mean any mask will work?
It means any mask on standard tubing will physically connect. ResMed validates a specific list of masks with the AirMini and marks the rest as not compatible, so anything outside that list sits outside what ResMed has tested.
How does it come on and off?
It pushes on by hand with no tools. To remove it, squeeze the tabs on either side and pull it away from the machine. Nothing on the AirMini is modified.
