ResMed ClimateLineAir Oxy Heated Tube for AirSense 10

The ClimateLineAir Oxy is the Air10 heated hose with a supplemental oxygen inlet built into the machine cuff. Your oxygen line pushes directly onto it, so nothing extra has to sit near the mask where it can snag on bedding or pull the seal.

Everything else matches the standard ClimateLineAir exactly. Fitted alongside the HumidAir humidifier it unlocks Climate Control, which holds the air at 27 degrees while the humidifier tracks a steady 85 percent relative humidity, so the oxygen port changes nothing about how the tube itself behaves.

Why the port sits at the machine

Oxygen has to enter the circuit somewhere. The usual arrangement is a bleed-in adapter down at the mask, which means another rigid fitting near your face, another junction that can leak, and a second line running up the bed alongside the hose.

Putting the inlet on the machine cuff moves all of that to the nightstand. One line leaves the concentrator and meets the circuit at the device, and what reaches your face is the same single hose you would have had anyway.

The order you switch things on

Start the device and let it move air before you open the oxygen, and close the oxygen before you stop the device. ResMed is unusually direct about this sequence, and it is a safety instruction rather than a preference.

The reason is accumulation. Oxygen flowing into a circuit with no airflow through it collects inside the device housing, and an enriched atmosphere in an enclosure containing electronics is a fire risk that costs nothing to avoid.

What it does not decide

This hose carries oxygen, it does not produce it or measure it. You still need the concentrator or cylinder, the supply line, and the flow rate somebody qualified set for you. The maximum the AirSense 10 is specified for is 4 L per minute.

Treat that number as a ceiling, not a target, and never move your flow to chase comfort the way you might nudge a humidity level. Temperature and humidity are yours to tune. Oxygen is a prescription.
