Overview
The ResMed AirFit N30 for AirMini pairs the nasal cradle cushion with a frame built exclusively for ResMed's travel CPAP. Rather than the usual hose and elbow, the frame seats directly on the AirMini's vent module, and three cushion sizes, Small, Small-Wide and Medium, all travel together in the box.
Passive humidification comes from two included cartridges rather than a water reservoir, a standard one for most rooms and a stronger one for dry air, a hotel room or higher altitude. Neither cartridge needs water added, refilled or checked against a fill line before bed.
Key Features:
- Passive humidification: A standard cartridge and a stronger one for dry air both ship in the box, with no water reservoir involved.
- Septum bridge seal: An inner wall inside the cushion inflates against your nose as therapy pressure arrives, tightening the seal on its own.
- QuietAir venting: Exhaled air diffuses at around eighteen decibels, quiet enough that it rarely disturbs anyone sharing the bed.
- AirMini tubing included: Tubing sized for the AirMini ships in the kit, since the frame has no standard hose fitting for a full-size machine.
- AirMini only: The frame's vent connector has no hose fitting for a full-size machine, so it pairs with the AirMini specifically.
- Three cushion sizes: Small, Small-Wide and Medium cushions all clip onto the same frame, so finding the right fit needs no second order.
Anyone already running an AirMini who needs a nasal cradle option will find the mask, its tubing and both humidification cartridges in this single kit. It also works for someone moving their existing N30 fit over to a travel setup for the first time.
How It Works
Why the connector is different
A full-size CPAP mask connects through a hose, an elbow and a swivel joint. This frame replaces all three with a single vent connector that seats directly on the AirMini, which is the one piece of hardware it is built around.
That connector is also why nothing crosses over between machines. A standard AirFit N30 has no fitting for the AirMini, and this frame has no fitting for a full-size CPAP or BiPAP device.
How the two cartridges differ
Neither cartridge uses water. Each captures a portion of the moisture in your exhaled breath and returns it on the next inhale, which is why ResMed calls the approach passive rather than heated humidification.
The standard cartridge handles an average bedroom. The stronger version compensates for conditions that pull moisture out faster than usual, dry climates, higher altitudes, or a pressurized cabin, and either one clicks into the same mask in seconds.
The cushion mechanism, unchanged
This kit uses the identical cushion mechanism as the standalone AirFit N30. An inner membrane inflates against your nose as pressure builds, so the seal firms up on its own instead of depending on how tight the headgear straps are.
The exhalation venting is also unchanged, spreading air out at roughly eighteen decibels rather than aiming a single stream at whoever is sharing the bed. Only the connector at the back of the frame is specific to this kit.
Two different replacement clocks
ResMed puts a number on the cartridges and nothing else: swap each one 30 days after opening it, and treat the AirMini tubing as due around the 6 month mark.
The mask itself, its cushions and the connector carry no fixed schedule. ResMed's guidance there is to look them over and replace whichever part shows cracking, discoloration or a seal that has stopped holding.

Everything you need to know about the ResMed AirFit N30 Mask Kit for AirMini
Plugs into the AirMini directly
Most CPAP masks connect through a hose and elbow assembly. This one skips that step and seats directly on the AirMini's own vent module, a fit that exists only on this version of the frame. Neither a standard N30 nor this AirMini frame crosses over to the other machine.
Humidification without a water tank
Instead of a water reservoir, this kit relies on a passive cartridge that captures moisture from each exhaled breath and returns it on the next inhale. A stronger version handles rooms or altitudes where the air runs especially dry, and switching between them takes seconds.
Three sizes, one frame
Every size clips onto the identical frame and headgear, so trying Small, Medium or Small-Wide is only ever a cushion swap. Nothing else about the kit changes based on which size ends up fitting best.

AirMini only
The vent module built into this frame plugs directly into the AirMini, so it has no hose fitting for any other CPAP device.
Septum bridge seal
Therapy pressure inflates the cushion's inner wall against your nose, so the seal tightens itself as the machine ramps up.
Three cushion sizes
Small, Small-Wide and Medium cushions travel together in the box, letting you settle on a fit without a second order.
No water reservoir
The kit adds humidification two ways, a standard cartridge and a stronger one for dry air, both already in the box.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with my machine?
Only the AirMini. The frame's vent connector has no hose fitting for a full-size CPAP or BiPAP device, so it stays paired with the AirMini specifically, not ResMed's own AirSense or AirCurve line.
Does this include the AirMini machine?
No, the AirMini itself is not part of this kit. What ships here is the mask, its tubing and both HumidX cartridges, meant for someone who already has the machine on hand.
Will my regular N30 mask work?
No. The venting technology on a standard AirFit N30 is not built for the AirMini's lower flow, so the two are not interchangeable. The frame in this kit is a separate part made specifically for the travel machine.
How often do I replace each part?
ResMed sets HumidX and HumidX Plus at 30 days from first use, and the AirMini tubing at roughly every 6 months. Everything else in the kit, the mask, cushions and headgear, gets replaced by inspection rather than a calendar.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes, CPAP masks are prescription devices. You can still complete checkout without one: we hold the order rather than cancel it, and ship as soon as we can verify your prescription.
