Overview
The DreamWear Nasal Pillow Mask Fit Pack is the same silicone pillows mask sold as a sizing kit, with more than one size in the box. You choose between a Medium frame with all four cushions, or Small and Medium frames with Small and Medium cushions.
Either way the mask itself is unchanged: pillows that seal at the nostrils, a hollow frame that carries air down both cheeks, and a hose connection at the crown. What the kit buys you is the ability to try a size and change your mind.
Key Features:
- Medium Frame Kit: Ships Small, Medium, Large and Medium Wide cushions on a single Medium frame, part number 1146468.
- Two Frame Kit: Ships Small and Medium frames together with Small and Medium cushions in one box, part number 1146470.
- No Large Frame: Neither kit carries the Large frame, which is sold only on the single size DreamWear pillows mask.
- Silicone Pillows Cushion: Seals at the rim of each nostril and lifts off the frame without tools when you change size.
- Crown Hose Connection: The elbow swivels above your head, so the hose never runs across your face or under your shoulder.
- Headgear With Arms: One headgear comes in the box, with arms that hold the frame steady on either frame size.
The Fit Pack is the sensible buy if nobody has measured you for nasal pillows and you would otherwise be guessing at a size. Once you know which cushion fits, the single mask and plain replacement cushions are the simpler thing to keep reordering.
How It Works
What a sizing kit is really for
Nasal pillows are the least forgiving cushion type to guess at. A full face mask that runs slightly large still seals, because the silicone skirt has somewhere to spread, but a pillow that misses the nostril by two millimeters either stings or whistles all night.
There is also no reliable way to measure yourself. Nostril openings are not symmetrical, they change shape under pressure, and a printed template held up to a mirror does not tell you how the silicone will behave at four in the morning.
Two measurements, two different kits
The frame is sized by your head and by where the strap crosses your skull. The cushion is sized by your nostrils. They are independent, and one of these kits resolves each of them, which is the only real difference between the two.
If your uncertainty is the cushion, take the four cushion kit and accept the Medium frame, which fits most adults. If your uncertainty is the headgear, take the two frame kit and accept that it stops at a Medium cushion.
Telling a bad fit from a bad night
Work through the sizes in order rather than at random. Fit the one you think is right, run the machine sitting up for a few minutes, then lie down in your usual position and listen, because most leaks only appear once your head is on the pillow.
Soreness at the nostril rim on waking means the cushion is too large and has been stretching tissue all night. A hiss that returns however hard you tighten the headgear usually means it is too small and sitting inside the nostril rather than under it.
The cushions you did not pick
Keep them. Silicone in a sealed bag does not age the way silicone against skin does, and a cushion is a consumable part that you will be reordering anyway, so an unused one is simply the next one.
Nostrils also change. Weight, congestion, and the season all move a fit slightly, and plenty of people run one size through winter and a different size in summer. Having the spares in a drawer makes that a five second swap.

Everything you need to know about the Philips DreamWear Nasal Pillow Mask Fit Pack
Pillows without a stalk
The pillows rest against the nostrils in soft silicone rather than pushing up inside them on a stem. Air reaches them from the crown of your head through the frame, so no tubing sits in front of your face.
Lie on either side
The silicone tube you lie on flattens rather than kinking, so the air keeps moving when you put your head down on it. Side and stomach sleepers can settle without dragging the pillows out of position.
The frame takes other seals
Whichever pillow size you settle on, the frame is not limited to pillows. It also accepts the DreamWear nasal cushion, which seals under the nose, so changing your mind later means a new cushion and nothing else.

Two sizing kits
Each kit holds more than one size, so you can settle the fit at home instead of guessing.
Silicone nasal pillows
The pillows rest against the nostrils in soft silicone and stay clear of the bridge of your nose.
Overhead tube outlet
The hose leaves at the crown of your head, so it never crosses your face or the pillow.
Soft tube frame
Air runs to the cushion inside two silicone tubes, and the tube you lie on flattens rather than kinking.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which of the two kits should I buy?
Take the Medium frame kit if the cushion is what you are unsure about, since it carries all four cushion sizes. Take the two frame kit if the headgear fit is the question and your nostrils are on the smaller side.
How do I size the cushion?
Cushion size follows the width of your nostrils, not the size of your head. Start with Medium, size down if the pillows feel tight inside the nostrils, and size up if a leak will not settle.
Can I put a different cushion on?
Yes. The DreamWear under the nose cushion and the full face cushion both clip onto this same frame. Buy the cushion on its own rather than a second mask, and keep the frame from this kit.
Will it work with my machine?
Yes. The DreamWear uses a standard CPAP hose connection and works with any CPAP or BiPAP machine, not just Philips Respironics.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes, CPAP masks are prescription devices. You can still complete checkout without one: we hold the order rather than cancel it, and ship as soon as we can verify your prescription.
