Overview
The ResMed AirFit P10 for AirMini is the mask kit built specifically for ResMed's travel machine, connecting straight to the AirMini's vent module with no separate elbow. It ships assembled with a Medium pillow, and Small and Large pillows ride along loose to try.
Two humidification cartridges are included in the box, HumidX and HumidX Plus, so a dry hotel room or a pressurized aircraft cabin does not mean going without added moisture overnight. The AirMini device itself is sold separately if you do not already own one.
Key Features:
- Built only for AirMini: This mask connects directly to the AirMini's vent module, so it is not interchangeable with the standard AirFit P10.
- Medium ships assembled: The mask arrives already built around a Medium pillow, with Small and Large included loose for a same-night swap.
- Two humidification cartridges: HumidX and HumidX Plus both ship in the kit, so stepping up for a dry room needs no separate order.
- Tubing sold as a kit: AirMini's own tubing is included, since this mask has no standard hose connection to attach to a full-size machine.
- No Extra Small pillow here: This kit stops at Small, Medium and Large, unlike the standalone AirFit P10 cushion range that also offers Extra Small.
- Runs slightly louder: At 22 decibels this mask measures a touch louder than the standard AirFit P10's 21, the tradeoff for its more compact design.
This kit is ideal for patients who already own an AirMini and need the matching mask, tubing and HumidX cartridges in a single order. It also suits anyone about to travel who wants both humidification levels packed and ready ahead of a trip.
How It Works
Why this is a different mask, not just a hose
The standard AirFit P10 connects through an elbow and swivel, which adds air volume between the cushion and the tube. This version skips that assembly and plugs straight into the AirMini's own vent module instead.
That single change drops the mask's dead space to 40 mL, well under the standard version's 123 mL, and is the reason the two masks are not interchangeable in either direction, even though they look almost identical.
What HumidX Plus is actually for
HumidX is ResMed's starting cartridge, a reasonable humidification level for an average bedroom. HumidX Plus goes further, built for conditions where the air is already dry, higher altitude, a heated hotel room, or a pressurized airplane cabin.
Both ship in every kit, so the choice is made on the night itself rather than guessed at checkout. Neither cartridge can be washed, and both are single-patient, multiple-use parts meant to be replaced, not cleaned.
Sizing without the fourth pillow
Small, Medium and Large pillows all arrive in this kit, with Medium already fitted to the mask so it can be worn straight from the box. Small and Large sit loose for a same-night comparison.
The standalone AirFit P10 cushion line also sells an Extra Small size, but it is not part of this particular kit. Patients who need Extra Small should order that pillow on its own.
What has a replacement date, and what does not
ResMed gives HumidX and HumidX Plus a firm number: replace within 30 days of opening the sealed pack, and never wash either cartridge. The AirMini tubing gets its own separate figure, at least every 6 months.
The mask, its pillows and the vent module itself carry no fixed interval in either ResMed guide. The instruction there is visual: replace any of the three if it is cracked, discolored or torn.

Everything you need to know about the ResMed AirFit P10 Mask Kit for AirMini
Built different from standard P10
This mask connects directly to the AirMini's vent module rather than through an elbow and swivel, which drops its dead space to 40 mL against the standard P10's 123 mL. That single change is why the two P10 masks are not interchangeable in either direction.
Two cartridges for two climates
HumidX is the starting point for most rooms, and HumidX Plus steps humidification up further for dry air, higher altitude, or a pressurized aircraft cabin. Both ship in this kit, so the swap needs no separate order when travel plans change.
Medium ships, two more wait
The mask arrives already built around a Medium pillow. Small and Large sit loose in the box for a same-night swap, though no Extra Small pillow ships in this particular kit, unlike the standalone AirFit P10 cushion range.

AirMini only
This mask connects straight to the AirMini's vent module with no elbow, so it does not fit any other ResMed device.
Three pillow sizes
The mask ships assembled with a Medium pillow, and Small and Large pillows come loose in the box to try.
Two HumidX cartridges
Two humidification cartridges are included, so you can step up to Plus in a dry room without a separate order.
No AirMini included
This is the mask and tubing kit alone, and the AirMini device itself is sold separately if you do not already own one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include the AirMini machine?
No. This kit is the mask, tubing and HumidX cartridges only. If you do not already own an AirMini, the device itself needs to be purchased separately.
Can I use this with supplemental oxygen?
No. ResMed states this mask is not compatible with supplemental oxygen, and it is not intended for patients with impaired airway reflexes or conditions that raise the risk of aspiration.
How often do I replace each part?
HumidX and HumidX Plus are replaced within 30 days of opening, and the AirMini tubing every 6 months. The mask, pillows and vent module have no fixed interval, just visual inspection for cracks or discoloration.
Will it work with my machine?
Only with the AirMini. This mask connects directly to the AirMini's vent module and is not compatible with any other CPAP or BiPAP machine, including ResMed's own AirSense and AirCurve line.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes, CPAP masks are prescription devices. You can still complete checkout without one: we hold the order rather than cancel it, and ship as soon as we can verify your prescription.
